October 2009: On October 2nd, 2009, Every Child Inc. hosted its 3rd Annual Challenge the Champions at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. Pittsburgh Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin served as the keynote speaker and spoke to over 200 guests about his reflections on family and leadership. Guests also had the pleasure of hearing the story of the Austins, a family who has fostered and adopted two children with special needs through Every Child Inc. Every Child Inc. would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Coach Mike and Kiya Tomlin, Coach John Mitchell, the Austin family, and the following sponsors for making the evening enjoyable and successful in raising almost $40,000:

September 2009: On September 11th, 2009, the 1st Annual Open Wide Open golf outing was held at the Alcoma Golf Course to benefit Every Child Inc. Over 100 golfers attended and the event raised over $11,000 for the work Every Child Inc. does with vulnerable children and families. Special thanks to Wayne and Stephanie Roccia and the entire Open Wide Open committee for an extremely fun and successful event!
