PAT (Parents as Teachers Curriculum): Staff who are certified Parent Educators increase the family's knowledge of child development by using the Parents as Teachers curriculum.</blockquote>
Living LARGE for Teens and Young Adults: A life skills curriculum designed to provide hands-on and creative learning opportunities.
Mentors for Children with Incarcerated Parents: Children who have incarcerated parents and a special need are matched with caring and understanding volunteer mentors.
Doulas (certified to support the parents during labor, delivery, and post-partum): Staff provides physical, emotional, and informational support to women and families during and after childbirth.
Rebuilding Families for Children with Incarcerated Parents: Supportive interventions with children and families when a parent is incarcerated.
Structural Family Intervention Approach: Strategies of a structural nature are used throughout our organization to enhance assessment, intervention, service, and treatment.
Respite: Respite is offered as a brief, temporary break from the responsibilities of parenting for birth, foster, and adoptive parents. Respite families are trained and assessed to provide a therapeutic environment for the child.
Family Retreats: A therapeutic weekend adventure, family retreats are offered for birth, foster, and adoptive families to spend time together.
Family Support Groups: Every Child provides several support groups for families who have children with challenging behaviors.
Attachment Therapy: Techniques are used to treat adopted children who have experienced serious abuse, neglect, and losses due to multiple moves early in childhood.
Resource and Referral: Staff help to identify resources, advocates, and services for families and organizations who are not currently served by the agency.
