As Allegheny County moves from the red phase to the yellow phase of COVID-19 mitigation efforts on May 15th, we want to share Every Child’s plan during this new phase. First, we want to assure you that Every Child continues to serve children and families in our region in person when possible and via telehealth and virtual visits when absolutely necessary. We are taking a very cautious and measured approach to re-opening to ensure the health and safety of our staff and the families we serve. To that end, we have determined that our administrative offices will remain closed to the public during the yellow phase. Our administrative and supervisory staff are fully equipped to continue their work remotely, so please contact us at 412-665-0600 if you need assistance. While our administrative office is not currently open to the public, our clinicians and social workers continue to work with children and families in our community while following all appropriate safety precautions recommended by the Allegheny County Health Department and the Pennsylvania Department of Health, including social distancing, wearing masks, and regular hand washing. In the coming days and weeks, we will re-evaluate our processes and procedures and make appropriate changes as needed to continue to protect the health and safety of staff and families while continuing our essential and life-sustaining work.
